My specialized training along with my work experience with server and network hardware, data center operations, team management, logistics and administrative duties have honed these skills:

 ·         Hardware repair – collect and analyze data, develop testing and diagnostic procedures, create valid action plans, carry out repairs, implement and validate post repair testing.·         Resource maximization - for effective use of finite resources and staff for 8 data centers for a 24/7/365 high visibility financial organization.·         Implementation/deployment – conduct design reviews with various groups including storage, network, apps/database, building facilities, and data center operations. Provide installation and testing for new and redeployed systems from uncrating, blasting, racking, patching, testing, and booting finally to the turnover to end user.

·         Management – influence and optimize resources to meet objectives.

·         Organization – develop, build and motivate teams, direct outcomes. Provide detailed reports for users, customer and employer relating to service calls, on duty schedules, logistics.

·         Predictive Analysis - evaluate hardware and software statistics to determine impending issues. Data center environmental surveys in an effort to provide preventive maintenance of the hardware. Analyze software and firmware versions and determine compatibility issues or known bug issues and provide resolutions.

·         Logistic support – develop and maintain onsite parts inventory for 5 data centers insuring the proper mix of parts are available and within budgetary constraints.

·         Computer software – Windows (various), Linux (various), Solaris (8 and 10), common productivity applications (MS and Oracle), HP Openview, Remedy, Aperture Veritas, Solstice Disk Suite and RAID manager.

Chubb Institute of Technology –Computer tech Support 1998- 1999. Graduated in the top 5 percent of the class. Participated in the mentor program

Sun Microsystems - courses including System Admin for 5.8, Sun F.E. 1 and 2, Sun desktop and Enterprise support, HP V class server support, Silicon Graphics server support, various Sun product specific courses, continuous Sun, HP/Compaq web training.  Cisco CCNA and Sun Solaris 10 in progress due by 6/11.
